Databases

There have been many different databases and data storage/management systems I’ve had to either use or interface with over the years.   While working with encounters I had to extract data from just about every database commercially available it seemed.  MS SQL Server and MySQL (now MariaDB)  have been the main ones for sure.

  • AWS DynamoDB
  • AWS RDS
  • Azure Cloud SQL Server
  • dBase
  • DB2
  • FileMaker
  • Image/3000
  • Informix
  • Ingres
  • Microsoft SQL server ( 2000 – 2016) both standalone and clustered and with replication.
  • Microsoft Access
  • MySQL (and the newer flavor MariaDB)  both stand alone and with replication
  • Oracle
  • Paradox
  • Pervasive
  • PostgreSQL
  • Progress
  • SQL Lite
  • Sybase
  • Teradata
  • Visual FoxPro
